Alberding Monitoring Software

The Alberding Monitoring Software has been developed as a reliable and robust software solution for deformation monitoring – either for real-time or long-term monitoring applications. Time series and availability plots, statistics, and warnings are generated automatically and visualised via the web interface. Due to its modular and extensible design the Alberding Monitoring Software can be adapted to your special needs.

Sensor data acquisition

The Alberding Monitoring Software supports standard GNSS data formats (e.g. RTCM 3.x and RINEX) as well as raw data formats of different manufacturers. The software can even use older GNSS receiver models or low-cost receivers with raw data output, total station measurements, RTK GNSS position solutions or external sensor data (e.g. weather sensors or geotechnical sensors).

Modular data processing

In the heart of the Alberding Monitoring Software, data connections are managed and measurement results are processed. Different sensor data are simultaneously recorded, evaluated and processed. For long-term monitoring applications, the Alberding Monitoring Software uses a dedicated GNSS post-processing software tool that can process measurements in different time intervals (e.g. 1h, 4h, 24h). For real-time monitoring applications, RTK solutions will be obtained from GNSS receivers / Ntrip casters, averaged over short periods of time, and visualised via the web interface. The reliability of the overall system is ensured by user administration, access control and backup functionality.

Output data / visualisation

The system status and the measurement results are displayed in a common web interface. Access is provided via personalised and password-protected user accounts. User configurable alarming functions ensure that SMS or e-mail alerts are released automatically should the monitored parameters exceed pre-defined threshold values. Status reports including plots and data can be generated and exported in PDF format and in CSV files for further processing.
