For the "construction" application area, we offer solutions for the generation of local GNSS correction data, project data transfer, machine positioning, measurement and staking out.
In road construction, local GNSS reference stations are often operated with radio data transmission due to high accuracy requirements for the elevation component. By connecting these stations to the Internet, the correction data can also be transmitted via mobile network (Ntrip). One server can be used for several construction sites.
During correction data transmission via mobile network, the RTK receivers on the machines send their current position to the server. The positions are displayed on a digital map and stored as required. The project manager automatically receives an overview of the current activities of the RTK users on the construction site.
The Alberding MAPOS software was developed for the positioning of large-scale mining equipment via GNSS RTK receivers and inclinometer sensors. MAPOS has been in use for more than 10 years for the real-time positioning of bucket wheels. In the meantime, the software has been adapted to the positioning of track shifting machines.
Trimble BX992 receivers are used in conjunction with external processors (embedded PC) for positioning of large-scale open pit mining equipment. The Alberding A10-RTK sensor with an integrated Linux board is used for combined applications (positioning and data transmission) and on auxiliary equipment.
